I have been with the IVC for 10 years (London, Southampton, Portsmouth) and have enjoyed everything it has had to offer.
I’ve had various roles on committee’s during this period and of late have been very much supporting IVC development and new member liason.
I enjoy club nights, cycling, camping, BBQ’s, music nights, dancing and parties – some parties of which I organise and host at my place.
IVC is a friendly place to enjoy social and sporting activities and welcomes new members, so try and find me
at a club night and start to have some fun.

I enjoy dancing like Mojive and currently decorating my home as I am a practical person. I attempt to keep the clubs finances in check. I hope you can tolerate my poor jokes, at least I know some don’t ?

I’ve been a member of IVC since 1996, and have been on the committee as ALO. I have enjoyed being a member due to the way that IVC is organised and the friendliness of the people in the club. I am now on the national AIVC committee as a Club Liaison Officer.
Many of my events include cycling, barbecues, Indian meals, organising trips abroad, house parties and night-clubbing.
I have had lots of fun with IVC and I would strongly recommend anyone considering becoming a member. I would be happy to chat informally to anyone who may be interested in joining.
New Members Officer
Shelagh Tasker

Shelagh arrived in Portsmouth in July 2009 after living abroad for many years.
She works at Queen Alexandra Hospital in the Medical Physics Department.
She is a keen sailor and has sailed over 18,000 miles on the oceans of the world.
She is also a mean tennis player and a member of Southsea Tennis Club.
Shelagh has been on many social and sporting committees and is keen to welcome new members to Portsmouth IVC and make sure they feel welcome and have a good time!
